Terms governing access to and use of the public connectedops.com website

Effective date: September 1, 2026

1. Parties and acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of connectedops.com and its public pages, content, forms and features (the “Website”). The Website is operated by Connected Ops LLC and Connected Ops GmbH. In these Terms, “Connected Ops,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to the entity responsible for the relevant Website interaction:

United States

Connected Ops LLC 600 Stewart St, STE 300 Seattle, WA 98101 United States

European Union

Connected Ops GmbH Schlosslände 26 85049 Ingolstadt, Bavaria Germany

Privacy and legal contact Data Protection Officer : Mert Altindag Email : info@connectedops.com

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website. If you use the Website for an organization, you represent that you have authority to act for that organization, and “you” includes that organization. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law are not waived by these Terms.

2. Eligibility and intended audience

The Website is intended primarily for business, government, institutional and professional audiences. You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. The Website is not directed to children under 16. If local law requires a higher age to consent to online terms, you may use the Website only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Limited permission to use the Website

Subject to these Terms, Connected Ops grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and view the Website for lawful informational and internal business-evaluation purposes. You may print or download a reasonable number of pages for those purposes if all copyright, trademark and proprietary notices remain intact. No other right or license is granted by implication, estoppel or otherwise.

4. Website information is not a customer contract

Descriptions of software, uncrewed systems, IoT devices, C5ISR capabilities, demonstrations, roadmaps, performance, availability, security, compliance, integrations and services are general information only. They are not a binding offer, warranty, technical specification, export authorization, procurement commitment or service-level agreement. A binding commitment exists only in a written agreement signed or otherwise formally accepted by authorized representatives of the relevant parties.

Product images, renderings, prototypes, simulations, demonstrations and forward-looking statements may depict concepts, optional configurations or capabilities still under development. Actual features, specifications, performance, certification, regulatory status, pricing and availability may differ by customer, jurisdiction, configuration and contract.

5. Intellectual property

The Website and its content—including text, software, source and object code, interfaces, workflows, databases, maps, graphics, photographs, videos, product renderings, designs, drawings, models, documentation, trademarks, logos, names and trade dress—are owned by or licensed to Connected Ops and are protected by intellectual-property and unfair-competition laws.

Except for the limited permission in Section 3, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, transmit, distribute, sell, license, modify, translate, create derivative works from, publicly display, commercially exploit, remove notices from, or use Website content to train or evaluate a machine-learning system without prior written permission. You may not reverse engineer or use Website materials to reproduce, benchmark or develop a competing product, except to the limited extent a non-waivable law expressly permits.

CONNECTED OPS and associated logos, product names and marks are trademarks or service marks of Connected Ops or its licensors. Use of a mark does not imply endorsement or permission.

6. Inquiries, submissions and feedback

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of information you submit. You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide it. Do not submit classified information, export-controlled technical data, source code, credentials, security keys, personal health data, special-category personal data, or confidential information belonging to you or another person through a public form.

Unless Connected Ops has signed a confidentiality or nondisclosure agreement that expressly covers the submission, an unsolicited idea, proposal, design, suggestion or other submission is not treated as confidential. You retain ownership of your submission, but grant Connected Ops a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to receive, reproduce and use it as reasonably necessary to evaluate and respond to your request. If you voluntarily provide general feedback about the Website or Connected Ops offerings, Connected Ops may use that feedback without restriction or compensation, provided it does not publicly identify you without permission.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the Website to:

  • violate a law, regulation, court order, sanction, export-control rule, intellectual-property right, privacy right or contractual duty;
  • submit false, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, unlawful, infringing, malicious or unsolicited bulk content;
  • probe, scan, test, bypass or defeat authentication, authorization, rate limits, consent controls or security measures without Connected Ops’ prior written authorization;
  • introduce malware, exploit code, automated traffic, scraping, data-mining or other activity that burdens, disrupts, damages or interferes with the Website or another system or user;
  • impersonate another person, misrepresent affiliation, harvest contact information, or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data, systems or networks; or
  • use Website content or contact channels to facilitate weapons proliferation, unlawful surveillance, human-rights abuse, terrorism, or another prohibited or unauthorized end use.

Connected Ops may use proportionate technical measures to detect, prevent and investigate abuse. Authorization to conduct security testing must be obtained in writing before testing begins. Potential vulnerabilities should be reported responsibly to info@connectedops.com with enough detail to reproduce the issue and without accessing, retaining or disclosing data beyond what is strictly necessary to demonstrate the vulnerability.

8. Export controls, sanctions and regulated technology

Connected Ops operates in fields that may involve export-controlled, dual-use, defense, aviation, radiofrequency, encryption or other regulated technology. Public Website access does not authorize the transfer, export, re-export, release, brokering, import, procurement or use of any controlled item, software, technical data or service. You must comply with applicable U.S., EU, German and other export-control, sanctions, end-use, end-user and anti-boycott laws. Connected Ops may decline or suspend an inquiry, demonstration, download, transaction or relationship while conducting compliance screening or where activity may be prohibited or require authorization.

9. Third-party links and services

The Website may link to or display content from third-party websites and services. Links are provided for convenience and do not constitute endorsement. Connected Ops does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, terms, security or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s terms.

10. Privacy and cookies

Our collection and use of personal data through the Website are described in the Connected Ops Privacy Policy. Cookie choices can be changed through “Manage Cookies” in the Website footer. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms for notice purposes, but it is not intended to limit any non-waivable privacy right.

11. Availability, updates and accounts

Connected Ops may change, suspend, restrict or discontinue any public Website content or feature at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or secure availability. Maintenance, network events, cybersecurity incidents, third-party failures and circumstances beyond reasonable control may affect access.

A login link or redirect may lead to a separate Connected Ops platform or customer environment. Access to that service may require an authorized account and is governed by separate customer, user, privacy and security terms. You are responsible for keeping any credentials confidential and notifying the applicable administrator of suspected compromise.

12. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WEBSITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” CONNECTED OPS DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY AND QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. CONNECTED OPS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE WILL BE COMPLETE, CURRENT, SECURE, UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CONTENT WILL BE SUITABLE FOR A PARTICULAR OPERATION, PROCUREMENT, SAFETY, ENGINEERING, DEFENSE, EMERGENCY, AVIATION OR REGULATORY DECISION.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, remedy or statutory guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded. Website content is not legal, regulatory, engineering, safety, financial, procurement or professional advice. You should obtain appropriate professional review and validate information before relying on it in a mission-critical or safety-related context.

13. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, gross negligence where non-waivable, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of an expressly assumed guarantee, or liability under applicable product-liability law.

Subject to the preceding paragraph and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Connected Ops will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, data or system availability, arising from or related to the public Website. For claims governed by German law, liability for slight negligence is limited to breach of an essential contractual duty and, in that event, to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of free informational Website. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

For a non-consumer claim relating solely to use of the free public Website, and where a monetary cap is permitted by law, Connected Ops’ aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid Connected Ops specifically for Website access during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Because public Website access is ordinarily free, that paid amount will normally be zero.

14. Indemnity for business users

If you use the Website for a business or organization, you will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Connected Ops and its officers, directors, employees and agents from third-party claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful submission, your material breach of Sections 5 through 8, or your infringement of another person’s rights. This section does not apply to the extent prohibited by law, does not apply to consumers acting for personal purposes, and does not require indemnification for Connected Ops’ own negligence or misconduct.

15. Suspension and termination

Connected Ops may block, restrict or terminate Website access where reasonably necessary to protect the Website, users, systems, legal compliance or rights, or in response to a material breach of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive— including intellectual-property, submission, disclaimer, liability, indemnity, governing-law and miscellaneous provisions—remain effective after termination.

16. Governing law and venue

If a dispute arises from an interaction handled by Connected Ops LLC, Washington law governs, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington have jurisdiction. If a dispute arises from an interaction handled by Connected Ops GmbH, German law governs, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; for merchants and public-law entities, the agreed venue is Ingolstadt, Germany.

If you are a consumer, this section does not deprive you of mandatory protections of the country in which you habitually reside, and you may bring proceedings in any court available under mandatory consumer law. Where no specific Connected Ops entity handled an interaction, German law applies to EEA consumers and Washington law applies to other users, in each case subject to mandatory law.

17. Changes to these Terms

Connected Ops may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, Website functions or business operations. The revised version will be posted with a new effective date. Changes apply prospectively. If a change materially affects registered or paid services, any notice and consent obligations will be governed by the separate agreement for those services.

18. Miscellaneous

These Terms and the documents expressly referenced here are the entire agreement concerning the public Website and supersede prior Website terms. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions will continue. You may not assign these Terms without written consent; Connected Ops may assign them in connection with a reorganization, merger, sale of assets or affiliate transfer, subject to mandatory law. Headings are for convenience only. The English version controls to the extent permitted by law if a translation differs.

19. Contact

Questions about these Terms, requests for permission, and responsible security reports may be sent to info@connectedops.com. Written notices may also be sent to the applicable Connected Ops entity at the addresses listed in Section 1.
